Welcome to the FWA-Aviary.com Web site. It is the home to our Closed Outdoor Aviary - Feathers With An Attitude. We specialize in Pyrrhura Conures which we feel make the greatest pets. As our Aviary name implies, Pyrrhura’s do have the “attitude”. They really have the ‘big’ bird personality but are in a much smaller body which makes them much easier to keep. So often people buy large birds, like Macaws, because of there beauty but don’t realize the amount of mess and effort a large bird like that is. Conures offer similar traits but are in much smaller and quieter package.
Our goal is to provide you with useful information about Aviculture and the opportunity to show off our birds as well as supply our customers with photos of the birds they would be purchasing. Our hope is, that the information provided will make it easier for you to do business with us as well as provide you with factual information about the husbandry of birds.
An additional service that we offer is to try and locate a pet(s) or breeder pairs that you may desire. We have access to several large breeders in the surrounding area that would allow us to provide this service. No promises are made or implied, but we will try our best to find and deliver the birds you desire. If your request is not filled promptly we will keep you notified of the progress or when they should be available. Birds don’t always lay clutches when we expect they to.
