HIGH CALORIE AND EMERGENCY FOOD
We strongly recommend the usage of Instant Ounces in the formula while hand feeding baby birds. Add a small amount to the formula as indicated and watch them grow. It is also extremely useful for sick birds were you need to get some calories into them.

In addition to Instant Ounces we also use Spirulina on a regular bases. It has been proven to improve fertility as well as be a great source of amino acids, beta carotene, and vitamins just to mention a few. We believe Vita-Health is one of the best available and not only do we use it for our own birds we offer it for sale. It is amazing the improvement you will see in your birds color when they are given spirulina on a regular bases.

ZUPREEM PREMIUM PRODUCTS
All of our Breeders Birds as well as all our Hand-Feed Babies are on ZuPreem. ZuPreem is a premium pellet diet that I strongly believe in. Not only are our Breeder Pair’s color awesome, but they are all very healthy and not over weight like birds that are given a seed only diet. I don’t advocate a ‘Pellet’ only diet even thou it will work. Our birds are offered ZuPreem pellets continuously. In addition, they are given a ‘Custom’ seed mix that I developed, Fresh Fruit and Veggies, and a ‘Custom’ mix of semi-cooked dry beans and rice. On special occasions they are given a dehydrated Fruit and Nut mix for just that ‘little treat need’ in all of us.
